Sr Director Marketing Strategy and Operations

Title: Sr. Director, Marketing Strategy and Operations

Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer

Overview

This is a critical role for driving EA’s network engagement strategies across the CMO organization and in partnership with other functions across EA, as well as leading operational and business process excellence for the Marketing function.

The role is a combination of change management, communications, project management, coalition building, setting standards and measurements, as well as visioning and evangelizing. The ideal candidate will be strong in both influencing skills and process discipline. Principle accountability for driving the CMO strategy planning process, annual goal-setting management and tracking. The role will lead cross-functional strategies, such as the Player Journey, in partnership with development organizations to drive greater engagement within EA games, and the EA Brand strategy.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

- Marketing Process:

o Create CMO reporting, dashboards, and review processes across Marketing functions and the CMO leadership teams

o Architect, plan and operate the CMO Leadership Team meetings, and Key Actions and Goals review meetings

o Lead change management activities associated with new process development

- Operational Excellence:

o Annual planning process for CMO leadership team to cover key annual events/milestones

o Drive effective planning cadence to include partner support organizations: Finance (Budget), HR (People and Talent), Corporate Development (Board meetings), and COO operations (such as Franchise reviews)

- Strategic Initiatives:

o Represent and drive the Marketing function in cross-EA customer initiatives, such as Network Engagement strategies

o Drive unique projects from conceptual to operational

o Collaborate with partner organizations (such as HR) on Strategic and/or Organizational Effectiveness work
