Partnering with EA Orlando

We are committed to working with education, government, community and industry partners to develop educational opportunities and programming for underrepresented members of Central Florida in and around the Creative Village. We are especially focused on the youth in the area and are aligning with the philosophical concept of the Creative Village that strives to deliver a living and working environment that supports Central Florida residents “from cradle to career.”

Below are commonly asked questions regarding partnership opportunities with our teams at EA Orlando.

Does Electronic Arts provide studio tours?

We realize the importance of exposure to science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM) in real-world settings, and prioritize tours of the EA Tiburon studio in Orlando for student groups to highlight how we leverage STEAM in developing iconic video games.

Unfortunately, studio tours are currently unavailable due to ongoing safety concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic. As excitement builds to see the new studio in Creative Village, we are committed to welcoming visitors again as soon as possible.

Are Electronic Arts representatives available for speaking engagements?

Our teams have experience speaking on a broad range of topics, primarily helping students from kindergarten to college realize there are paths available to them to become successful professionals in fields of art and technology. Please contact us at communityconnectionteam@ea.com.

Does Electronic Arts sponsor community events or activities?

From financial contributions to innovative partnerships, we strive to support all programs and various community opportunities that both empower and educate. We want to use interest in video games and interactive entertainment, as well as leverage a passion for sports through our EA SPORTS brand, to inspire our community to dream big. With an emphasis and focus on STEAM education, and by partnering with local organizations, we hope to show the correlation between STEAM education and new paths for the future – one that is fun, rewarding and full of potential.

How can I get involved with the STEAM camp?

We have been operating and expanding our signature summer camp, “Get in the Game,” focused on mentoring young women and non-binary students in high school who have expressed an interest and capability in technology. The program provides hands-on coding experience, plus exclusive access to EA knowledge, technology, tools, studio facilities and personnel throughout the week. Each student receives a “golden ticket” for a guaranteed internship interview at our EA Orlando location. Plans for future programs, including 2023, will be communicated as soon as more information becomes available.

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve, we are exploring new ways to deliver this experience and make it possible for more diverse student groups to participate. Plans for future programs, including 2022, will be communicated as soon as more information becomes available.
